About Assistive Tech
Who we are
Assistive Tech is a specialist retailer of assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. We are a registered NDIS provider, an Australian-owned business, and part of The Glue Group - a technology operating group headquartered in North Ryde, NSW, with active businesses across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States.
We exist because access to the right technology changes lives - and navigating the systems that fund it should not be the hard part.
What we do
We supply assistive technology products to individuals, families, educators, therapists, support coordinators, and organisations across Australia. Our range covers AAC devices and apps, sensory and regulation tools, adaptive daily living aids, and tablet and device accessories - selected for their practical value and clinical relevance.
We serve customers across every major funding channel: NDIS, Home Care Packages, DVA, education, healthcare, and direct retail. Our digital platforms are built for the complexity of funded purchasing - helping clients and professionals identify eligible products, understand their funding options, and complete the process with as little friction as possible.
Our history
Assistive Tech was established in 2020 as part of The Glue Group. The group had already built genuine operational depth in digital commerce, logistics, and enterprise technology through Trust Panda - and made a deliberate decision to apply that infrastructure to a market where it could make a real difference. That is still the operating principle today.
Part of something larger
As a Glue Group business, Assistive Tech operates with the backing of a group that holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, runs logistics and fulfilment operations across four markets, and has the technology development capability to build platforms that match the complexity of the environments our customers work in. That matters when you are dealing with funded purchasing, clinical documentation requirements, and support coordination workflows.
